This Privacy Policy explains in more detail what data we process, why we process it, who may receive it and which rights you have as an AevumLingo user.
AevumLingo acts as the controller of the personal data required to provide the service. This policy applies to data collected through the website, web app, Premium purchases, authentication features and support communications.
We may collect account and identification data, chosen language, learning progress, answers and statistics, technical browser and device information, purchase events and security logs. Payment details are handled by specialist providers and we do not store full card numbers.
We process data to create and manage accounts, authenticate sessions, sync progress, unlock paid access, display statistics, provide user support, prevent fraud, analyse platform performance and comply with legal or tax obligations. We may also use your data to send communications strictly related to security, your account, payments and relevant service changes; marketing communications will be sent only where an appropriate legal basis exists.
Our legal bases include performance of the contract for use of the platform, your consent where applicable, compliance with legal obligations and AevumLingo's legitimate interests in security, stability, service improvement and abuse prevention.
We may share data with providers supporting authentication, databases, hosting, payment processing, transactional email and technical support, strictly to the extent needed to provide the service. We may also disclose data to authorities where legally required.
Data is kept for as long as needed to maintain your active account, deliver the service, answer support requests, resolve disputes, comply with accounting requirements and prevent fraud. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised unless the law requires longer retention.
You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent where applicable. You may also ask for account closure and, if you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
We use cookies and local storage to keep authenticated sessions active, store interface preferences, remember language, theme, study direction and other settings required for the platform to work properly. Without these mechanisms, some features may not function correctly.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. The platform is not specifically designed for unsupervised children. Where providers operate outside your country, we aim to ensure appropriate safeguards for any applicable international data transfer.
We may update this policy when relevant legal, technical or operational changes occur. The latest version will always be available on the platform. For privacy requests, data subject questions or concerns about this policy, email admin@aevumlingo.com or use the contact page.
To understand the rules governing use of the platform, also read the full Terms of Service.
